Genshiken-DLSUD General Assembly for the 1st semester of sy2009-2010
Posted by: Miharu-chan in Genshiken AdvisoryEast Campus, De La Salle University-Dasmariñas Cavite —- As the sun shone down brightly upon the campus, a group of people calling themselves Gendai Shinkaku Bunkai Kenkyukai or simply Genshiken-DLSUD conducted their general assembly yesterday at LDH106. The said group arranged their geenral assembly a couple of weeks before, but due to the cancellation of classes becuase of A(H1N1), it was rescheduled and more prepared than before.
The introductions were led by the officers and advisers that made the new, old and alumni members proud. It was followed by a heart-warming song performance of “Sorairo Days” from the anime ‘Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann’ and the JPop song “Glamorous Sky”, by the official band of Genshiken-DLSUD: the G-Ken. There was also a card magic trick performance by Mr. Erick “Pek2″ Peckson. The crowd went crazy when the joint-dance performance of the cosplay and performance committee, composed of Keiko, Tricia, Larisse, Xheng, Aika, and Regina, with the upbeat JPop song ‘Dakishimette! Dakishimette!’ by Berryz Koubou was performed. The audience shouted for an encore but went uproar when a cute prinnie, from the game ‘Disgaea’, took a step and stumbled across the floor. An artistic slide show showcasing the art works by the Art committee and explainations about the Publications committee and Web Management Team soon followed. As for the climax of the event, the Events Management committee enetered full-armored with guns and gas masks as they arranged the variety of food, such as nachos and humus, prepared by no other than the Events Management committee head, Mr. Raplh ‘Iron Kros’. The event ended with picture taking as cameras present took shots of probably the most bizarre but fun event for this semester.

It was fun kuya jason…Sayang, hindi ka pumunta. Nandoon sina kuya Naoto, Kuya Nix, Kuya Adolf, at Kuya Jake… Waaahhhh… Good thing that the officers are running all over the place, especially Ryan, Ralph, and Norman. Naging smooth tuloy in some way yung g.a

The officers make make the members run all over the place with us, but please don’t hold it against us. We only do it so that when the time comes someone else will know where to run to.
The GA went, for the most part, just as planned. Some parts could have gone better, but it was a great success. Keep an eye out for more activities from Genshiken-LaSalle!
